From injecting salt water into their veins to creating a dead body floating face down in a pool, contemporary Danish-Norwegian artists Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset have pushed boundaries over the course of their careers. How Are You charts the personal and professional partnership of the two artists, from their meeting in 1995 to the launch of their 2009 Venice Biennale exhibition ‘The Collectors’.  Their playful, incisive works take themes of identity, sexuality, conformity and democracy and turn them inside out. How Are You reveals the genesis of several of these works as well as showing the duo’s rise on the international stage.
